A: More common than most people think. It is estimated that up to one in three women today suffer to some degree with bladder weakness. This can affect women of all ages and may occur at any time, but often starts in pregnancy, after childbirth, or during menopause.

A: Stress incontinence - leaking when there's some pressure put on the bladder, usually when sneezing, coughing, laughing and exercising - starts when the pelvic floor muscles that support the bladder and womb are weakened. Pregnancy and childbirth is the most common cause. During pregnancy, hormonal changes allow pelvic muscles to relax and expand and are often further weakened at delivery. Q: How do I know which size is right for me?
A:Your Starter Pack contains the Medium size. Once inserted it should feel comfortable and prevent leakage. If it doesn't feel comfortable or you have difficulty emptying your bladder when you are wearing it, you will need to swap to the smaller size. Alternatively, if the Medium is comfortable but you find that you're still leaking you will need to swap to the large size.
Q: How do I clean and store IncoFree?
A: IncoFree must be removed at least once every 24 hours for cleaning. It should be washed with warm water and non-perfumed soap after each use. Do not boil or place IncoFree in the miocrowave during cleaning as this will reduce its effectiveness. However, IncoFree can be autoclaved (steam sterilized in a doctors practice for re-use). After washing, dry IncoFree thoroughly and put it in the IncoFree storage compact until you need to use it again.
Q: How long can I use one IncoFree for?
A: One IncoFree can be used for up to 45 days or more depending on how often you use it before it needs to be replaced. The device needs to be replaced when it starts to crack. You can buy replacement IncoFree packs in the size which works best for you.
Q: When shouldn't I use IncoFree?
A: You should not use IncoFree: During sexual intercourse. If you are pregnant. If you have any vaginal infections such as thrush. If you have any vaginal erosions or soreness. If you have cystitis (bladder infection). If you are using an IUD. Not within 2 months of having a baby.
Q: Do I need to check with my Health Professional before using IncoFree?
A: This is only necessary if you are leaking constantly, have had any form of bladder surgery or suffer from a previously diagnosed condition affecting the bladder. In these cases, you must contact your health professional before using IncoFree. If you experience any irritation or vaginal discharge during use, remove IncoFree and contact your health professional.
